Rosaleen
Rosaleen came from a large family in the north of England and was the youngest of 14 Brothers and sisters. Her clothes were always hand me downs from her older sisters. Growing up in the late 1930’s she found herself helping the French during the World War II. They were tough times and Rosaleen used to sew and make her own clothes from whatever simple fabrics she could find. Occasionally she would find jewellery in the second hand clothes and always found a way to recreate these and use them to brighten up her simple designs. Born in desperate times Rosaleen became known for her simple designs with bold use of pearls and jewels becoming a successful young girl in the world of Fashion.
