Gabrielle

The original Roguedoll. Gabrielle was orphaned as a little girl when her Mother and Father were lost at sea in a tragic accident. She found refuge with the Benedictine Nuns near Chantilly Castle who took care of her as best they could. Life was difficult as the Nuns had very little money, had to grow their own vegetables in their small garden and rely on the prince from the castle to donate food. The Nuns taught the young orphan how to make lace dresses and Gabrielle grew up dreaming of being a princess at Chantilly castle. As she grew into a teenager she became determined to start a new family again and be a successful dressmaker. Through hard work and motivated by the struggles of her life and hurtful past she grew up to become one of France’ most admired and famous designers. Gabrielle never forgot her difficult childhood and is always looking for little girls that she can inspire and help to realise their own hidden talents.
